I look at her and I’m in awe of her joy

The way her heart radiates through her eyes, the way her soul greets you before her words ever do. 

I look at her and I’m in awe of her strength. 

The way it glistens through the cheekiness she can’t quite contain. 

I look at her and I’m instantly infatuated, for there is nothing I wouldn’t give to hold her, to look into her eyes and have sonnets and declarations of love fall from my lips. 

I am besotted with the way she moves through life, enamoured with her ability to experience the worst of humanity, yet choose to see only the best in it. 

And oh god how I wish to give it all to her, to give her everything she needs to chase every one of her grandiose dreams. 

For I know it’s hearts like hers who will change the world, and I will claim my place in history of change by remaining by her side.
